My work combines fundraising strategy, governance expertise, organizational change management, and equity-centered philanthropy. I’m known as a catalyst for major change—helping organizations align money, power, and leadership so resources strengthen community-led impact rather than reinforce the status quo.
I work with mission-driven nonprofits and philanthropists committed to equity-centered, community-led impact. My clients include 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations, foundations, and individual donors across a range of sectors, as well as startup nonprofits seeking guidance on strategy, governance, and fundraising.
Engagements may include keynote talks, guest lectures, and facilitated workshops, along with interim or fractional development leadership; strategic fundraising and governance advisory; campaign planning and case development; strategic planning retreat facilitation; grant readiness and annual fund development; and major donor engagement and investment strategy. All services are tailored to each individual or organization’s goals and context.
Yes. I work directly with philanthropists and major donors to structure gifts that are both ambitious and accountable. I help funders clarify the change they want to see, identify the right nonprofit partners, and design multi-year investments that align resources with community leadership, realistic timelines, and measurable outcomes.
I offer a complimentary introductory call to learn more about your organization or philanthropic goals and determine whether we’re a good fit. This conversation is focused on clarity, alignment, and next steps—not on providing full consulting or deliverables.
For conferences and academic calendars, reaching out several months in advance is ideal. That said, availability varies, and shorter-notice requests are sometimes possible depending on timing and scope.
Fees vary based on the scope, duration, and nature of the engagement. Consulting projects may be structured as flat fees, monthly retainers, or interim leadership contracts, while speaking engagements are typically structured as flat fees based on format, duration, and level of customization. I’m happy to discuss options after an initial conversation about goals and capacity.
Fractional support provides embedded senior development leadership on a part-time, ongoing basis, while interim support fills short-term transition needs.
I focus on grant readiness—developing strong cases for support, funder-facing narratives, prospecting strategies, and internal systems that make institutional giving sustainable. I can also recommend trusted grant writers when appropriate.
I work with organizations locally and nationally. Engagements may be in-person, remote, or hybrid, depending on needs. Travel is available for in-person engagements, with logistics and costs discussed as part of the planning process.
Limited pro bono or reduced-fee engagements may be available for mission-aligned organizations, academic settings, or community-based initiatives, depending on capacity and timing.
